MORTON DINGBATS
This font was created by Jim Morton at Pop Void Publications. It contains an
assortment of creepy symbols, (skulls, snakes, spiders, swastikas), religious
symbols (crosses, Star of David, Yin-Yang), astrological, I Ching and rune
symbols. It also contains a sideways triangle, which, for some reason, is not
included in Zapf Dingbats. There are also a bunch of other fun symbols, from a
peace symbol to a a smiley face to a martini glass.
The Morton Dingbats typeface is freeware, but it is not public domain. Feel
free to use it, copy it and upload it on other bulletin boards and information
network services, as long as this document accompanies it. The font ID number
for Morton Dingbats is 104.
HOW TO USE THIS FONT
To use Morton Dingbats, the printer file (titled Mortb) must be copied into
your current System folder. The screen fonts (Mortbats.bmap) must either be
installed in your font menu using the Font/DA Mover, or opened with Suitcase
II before using it.
I would certainly be interested in hearing from anyone about this or any other
fonts that I have created. To reach me write:
